Audrey Alexander Hood is an artist and interior designer in the Charlotte area. She believes that the most important component of designing a space or creating a piece of art is the relationship she has with her clients.
In her design work, Audrey focuses on a select number of clients, getting to know them as individuals. She enjoys learning what her clients love, how they live, and how they use their spaces. She approaches every design with her specific client and their family in mind, creating a warm, welcoming, comfortable environment that is both beautiful and functional.
As an artist, Audrey works in a variety of mediums including watercolor, acrylic, and oil. She most enjoys creating pieces that mimic the vivid colors, patterns, and textures found in nature. Audrey loves collaborating with collectors to paint pieces that reflect her client's taste and style, and she includes elements in each commissioned piece that are special to her client.
Originally from Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Audrey resides in Charlotte with her husband and their two young daughters. Audrey's work is influenced by her favorite things: her family, traveling the world, broken-in boots and blue jeans, fresh cut flowers, and leopard print. Outside of her art and design studio, Audrey enjoys running, traveling, and volunteering in the community; she currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Junior League of Charlotte.
